While the hype of Shohei Ohtani has died down a bit since he first played in the majors, his autograph baseball cards still have great value.

The fact that he was recently awarded the American League Rookie of the Year certainly didn’t hurt maintain the high value of his rookie cards.

Who should win the AL MVP this year – Mike Trout or Mookie Betts? (Both rookie autograph cards available and valuable)

Both are deserving, but who will win it?

Mike Trout continues to put up incredible stats each season, batting .312 this year along with 39 home runs, 79 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases in 471 at bats.

Mookie Betts is also putting up solid numbers and has the advantage of playing for a better team. He batted .346, 32 home runs, 80 RBIs, and 30 stolen bases in 520 at bats.

Regardless of who wins, both their rookie autograph cards remain valuable and there are several high-end cards available, which were just listed today.

Milwaukee Brewers Christian Yelich goes for Triple Crown, top rookie cards have good value

With the tiebreaker game (#163) today, Christian Yelich of the Milwaukee Brewers has one more chance to capture the NL Triple Crown – a feat that hasn’t been done in the NL since 1937.

But it’ll be a challenge with Yelich trailing Nolan Arenado in the home run department by one (who will also playing a tiebreaker game), and trailing by two RBIs to Javier Baez of the Cubs (who is also playing a tiebreaker game).

Yelich, though, comfortably leads in the batting average category.

It’ll be an exciting game to watch. For collectors, it’s been great to see Yelich breakthrough this year after promising (but a little disappointing) seasons with the Miami Marlins.

Aaron Judge leads top baseball jersey sales (again) this season, rookie cards still hold value

Here’s an interesting article of the most popular players in the league whose jerseys sold the most this season.

And on top again is New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge (click image to see this Amazon listing of an authenticated autographed Judge jersey!)

It’s no wonder as there are plenty of fans who enjoy watching Judge slug homers and he’s pretty likeable off the field too.

His autographed rookie cards have also held its value (after it came down from the craziness during Judge mania early last season).

Kansas City Chiefs fans have something to look forward to most Sundays this football season.

Rookie sensation Patrick Mahomes is now at quarterback and already showing what he can do, leading the Chiefs to a quick 2-0 season.

While it’s early to project what he can actualy do in a full season, the skill and talent is certainly there. For collectors, that means there’s currently great value in his autograph rookie cards.
