Everyone loves home runs but one player hit the ball the longest, hardest – Aaron Judge

All rise!

This article from mlb.com takes a look at some of the notable home runs hit this past season (there were more than 6,000 to choose from).

Unsurprisingly, one player dominated the more impressive category of the longest and hardest hit homers. That, of course, was Aaron Judge.

In the year of the Judge, anyone who invested early in his rookie card (his 2013 Bowman Draft base autograph rookie went for $99 early in the season reaped the rewards).

If you’re looking now, we saw one Buy It Now option as low as $649.99 below:

Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hits 2 more home runs, rookie card value starting to stabilize?

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge seems to be heating up again after a prolonged second-half slump.

Screen Shot 2017-06-15 at 11.50.55 PMHe hit two more home runs last night with his total now at 43. That also happened to be his 27th in the new Yankee Stadium, breaking Curtis Granderson’s previous record of 26 set in 2012.

Over the second half, Judge’s 2013 Bowman Chrome Draft autograph rookie card value started to plummet after hitting its peak value around $1,500 (base auto, BGS 9.5/10).

But it seems things are starting to stabilize for his on the field and in the collecting world with prices of his base autograph card currently set at $550. Here are a few below on eBay currently.

  1. Currently listed for $549 – base autograph BGS 9.5/10
  2. Currently listed for $549 – base autograph BGS 9.5/10
  3. Currently listed for $549 – base autograph BGS 9.5/10

Another week, another drop in Aaron Judge Bowman Chrome autographed rookie card prices

We asked in a previous post whether New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge 2013 Bowman Chrome autographed rookie card (BGS Graded 9.5/10) would dip below $500.

Screen Shot 2017-06-15 at 11.50.55 PMNow that it has, the question has become: Will it dip below $400? That’s quite extraordinary since his base autographed cards earlier this season commanded $1,500 at one point.

Here’s a couple of listings as of today (Aug. 28) with prices closer to the $400 mark than $500 (click on the link to see eBay posting).

  1. Currently listed for $434.99 (BGS Graded 9.5/10)
  2. Currently listed for $449.99 (BGS Graded 9.5/10)
